Marc Bolan aka Marc Feld. (30 September 1947 – 16 September 1977)
His Purple Mini being driven by Gloria Jones failed to take the bend on the hump back bridge on Queens Ride, near Gypsy lane, Barnes. It hit a metal steel link fence, crashed and halted at the Sycamore tree.
