On 10 September 1988, G-SMIF a Robinson R22 Beta departed Wycombe Air Park at 10:34. The helicopter crashed at the destination Prescott, near Cheltenham at around 11:30; Mike Smith was the pilot and Sarah Greene was the passenger. The Accident Report stated “The examination of the helicopter revealed no failure or unserviceability that could have resulted in loss of rotor speed”. #Rotor #Prescott
